Categories of third-party persons or entities with whom CREfirms.com may share a User's anonymous information
Certain advertisers (or the companies that serve up advertisements on their behalf, collectively, "Advertisers") may track and store certain anonymous information (the "Anonymous Information") about the Users visiting CREfirms.com.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
We use an outside credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
We use other third parties to provide software programming and hosting services on our site. When you sign up for email or a subscription, we will share your personally identifiable information on an as-needed basis as necessary for the third party to provide that service on our behalf. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
Categories of information gathered by such third party persons or entities.
Although different Advertisers may collect different Anonymous Information, the information gathered generally includes such things as: (i) the anonymous cookie ID associated with the User's computer; (ii) portions of the User's Internet Protocol (IP) address that identify the User's domain name and the general geographical area in which the User is located; (iii) the particular ad(s) viewed by the User and the date, time and duration of that viewing; and (iv) whether the User clicked on an ad (or any information within it). This anonymous tracking process does not reveal the User's personally identifiable information including name, phone number, mailing address, or e-mail address.
Use of Anonymous Information
As a general rule, the anonymous tracking information from each User is bundled with that of other Users to create an overall usage summary for the ad(s) in question. This summary allows the Advertiser to better evaluate the reach and effectiveness of its ads, both from a content and placement perspective, such as by analyzing how many "hits" a particular ad receives.
