Database Questions

How often is the data within CREfirms updated/reviewed?
CREfirms is continuously updated and every record is reviewed no less than three times per year. Larger firms are reviewed more frequently. Key contact information is reviewed in the same fashion. Email addresses are reviewed and updated monthly.

How does CREfirms aggregate information?
Information is collected from a variety of sources including property transaction data, directly from the firms, commercial real estate associations to name a few.

How many firms and contacts do you have?
In aggregate, the commercial real estate firm database contains a total of:
    14,256 commercial real estate firms
    135,746 key contacts
    69,918 unique email addresses

Can I be listed in the owner/buyer database?
Possibly. Our subscribers rely on us to provide them access to direct decision makers (I.E. No broker chains). Therefore, every firm undergoes an extensive editorial review prior to being listed. Individual investors and buyers reps are not permitted in our owner/buyer database.


Can I list my property on CREfirms.com?
No. We are not a site to list properties.


I am looking for the owner of a specific commercial property. Can your service help?
No. We do not track individual properties or transactions. We would recommend contacting your local recorder’s office or exploring a costar.com subscription.


Why are portfolio and investment criteria not available for all firms?
If a link to the portfolio or investment criteria page is not shown, then CREfirms.com has not captured portfolio due to lack of public information.


Subscription Questions

How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you cancel your account within the 30 days of signing up, your credit card will not be billed. You can cancel your account at any time by simply clicking on the "My Account" tab at the top of any member’s only page (when you're logged in). You will also receive periodic emails from us during your free trial, reminding you on how to cancel.


What are the limits on the amount of data I can download?
None, you have full access and can make as many downloads as you’d like. Note, when using the brokerage contacts database, each download is limited to 1,000 records.

What limits are imposed on my account during the free trial?
None. You have full access to the database and ability to create and download lists during your trial.

Do I get access to all portions of the CREfirms.com database?
Yes. All accounts receive access to all CREfirms.com data; Owner/buyers, Brokerages and Lenders as well as all key contacts in the database.

What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards. Monthly and annual invoicing options are available for enterprise customers. Contact us for additional information.

Do you require a credit card to try the database?
Yes, in order to reduce fraud and to ensure continual service for those continuing on with their subscription, we require a valid credit card on file with CREfirms.com

Is there a minimum commitment?
You have 2 options when signing up for a CREfirms.com account; monthly and annual. If you choose the monthly option, you are billed on a monthly basis and if you cancel you will not billed again. For those choosing the annual account, there is a 1 year commitment.

How do I change my password or update/check my billing info?
All administrative functions tied to your account, including password changes and billing info can be modified or reviewed within the Account Info page. A link to this page can be found in the top right of each CREfirms member page.
